Wall paneling and cabinets were also added A local artist was commissioned to make floor tiles to mimic the original tiling on the chimney breast. The original windows were removed to make way for a semi-circular bay with French doors to provide garden access. Wood samples were taken from elsewhere in the house so that the new wall paneling and cabinetry would match the existing exactly. The cabinets conceal tele-conferencing equipment. The marble steps and handrail were added to provide access to the room from a hallway.
